Fake Names
When we have foster babies in our home I am not able to post their picture anywhere on the internet or release their real name. This is for their protection and privacy. I am happy to comply.
So I figured it might be time to give all my loveys fake names for the blog. I need your help. I'd like to give them cute names, rather than just writing initials. And I'd rather it not be a nick name we actually call our girls. That kind of defeats the purpose. I'm thinking of calling Violet, Squeeze. I have no ideas for Nola. I'll probably fake name our foster babies as we get them. Nola wants to "name our new baby sister Bubble Grass." We'll see about that one.
Ideas for me?

I remember one time you wrote a post about Ryan's eye looking like it was winking at you or something to that effect, and that you thought maybe Nolie had the same "winking" eye. So my suggestion is Squints (like from The Sandlot) . Then you'd have Squints and Squeeze!!! LOL! I love nicknames. I have a ba-jillion for the kids and I seem to call them something different in different stages right now Luke is "E" mostly because that's what Urbs calls him. Rhythm has been "Squish" for awhile now and Urban is "Toady". I also call the kids their middle names.
ReplyDeleteI am with Revonna on nicknames! I was going to suggest "curly" (curly sue not stooges) or "locks" but I also love The Sandlot (and the show Bones)so I am liking Squints too! Or you can just call one Boolah and the other Beso :)
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm....I could take both your ideas, Curly and Squints. I love the matching "Sq" names. Maybe Squiggle for Nola? Like, curly hair is like squiggles?
ReplyDeleteAnd, Nola is sort of squiggly sometimes when she if feeling rambunctious. I love Squiggle and Squeeze! But Bubble Grass would work better with Boolah and Beso.
ReplyDeleteHaha squiggle is way cute!
